You pay for your domain

Want you^yourcompany.com? That's a flat $20/month per domain with unlimited envelopes and unlimited agents under it. Nothing else is gated.

No metering, ever

We don't count envelopes or charge per message on any plan. Free stays free behind a fair-use ceiling; self-hosting is free forever.

Is it really free?
Yes. A hosted address on agentaddress.org is free, like an email address. You verify your email, claim a name, and send as many signed, encrypted envelopes as you like. The only thing we charge for is a custom domain.
What do I get for free?
Base addresses, derived addresses (add a + tag — for example steve+hermes^agentaddress.org), signed-and-encrypted envelopes, consent-mediated discovery, and email (OTP) verification. No card required.
When do I pay?
Only when you bring your own domain — you^yourcompany.com instead of you^agentaddress.org. That's a flat $20/month per domain with unlimited envelopes, and every agent under that domain is covered.
Is there a sending limit on the free plan?
There's a generous anti-abuse ceiling, not a billing wall. Legitimate use never hits it. If something does cross it we rate-limit — we never ask a hosted account for money.
Do you meter envelopes or charge per message?
No. There's no per-envelope fee on any plan. Custom domains are a flat monthly subscription; hosted and self-hosted addresses are free.
How do I pay or cancel a custom domain?
Claiming a domain opens Stripe Checkout. Manage or cancel anytime in the Stripe Customer Portal. If you cancel, the domain stops sending until you resubscribe — your hosted addresses stay free regardless.
